Ear Lobe Acne and Piercing

I suffer from acne. I get white heads, black heads and sometimes cysts. My acne is primarily on my face however, I get cysts on my chin, cheeks and sometimes behind my ear. I have acne within my ear lobes which feel like tiny little balls when touched/rolled. If I were to squeeze my ear lobe, strings of white heads will come out. I wish to pierce my ear lobes however, can I do it?
