Ear gets blocked when AC is switched on.Can I use cotton plugs to prevent blockage temporarily during night when AC is switched on.
What is the cause of the problem ?

You seem to be suffering from eustachian tube dysfunction which usually occurs secondary to common cold or any related nose problems. You may need to take decongestant medications or try doing valsalva maneuver
