Dysentery from 5 days
My baby weighing 8.5 kg aged 20 months was born premature at 27 weeks. before he turned one year old he was admitted twice because of UTI and dysentery. Last Monday he started having diarrhoea first then after 3-4 days he started having blood and mucus in the stool.Yesterday his sample has been given for culture.Doctor told to wait till the results.Meanwhile he is given antibiotic and zinc.He is passing stool the moment he eats something.Does he has to get admitted again.The report shows 8-10 WBC and RBC.
