Dvt in left leg, swelling in right ankle
I have a dvt in my left leg, from my ankle to behind my knee. I noticed today that my right ankle is swelling. I'm on eliquis twice a day. I'm also having random pains in my right leg. Is this something to be concerned about and go,to the er for? I was diagnosed on August 27th and started blood thinners the same day.

Hello Ma'am. Very Good morning.  I think you should go for colour doppler of both the lower limbs. I don't know whether you have gone through it. Anticoagulants have so many dreadful sideeffects.  Kindly seek an opinion from your concerned doctor. Take care and have a hasty recovery soon. Regards.
