Hi, my wife is 12 week pregnant, during 4 week her thyroid was 9 hypothyroidism but now it's under control as she is taking thyronorm, Her HBF is 13.7 and HB A0 is 84 so just wanted to know due to high HBF gynecologist has suggested to do Dual marker test ?

Yes. Dual marker is advisable. There is risk of abnormalities in baby of mother's having high HbF. However, this is just risk and not a rule. Your doctor's advise is correct
