DTAP Vaccinatiom
Can we switch to DTAP painless vaccine after first dose of vaccination was DTP which was given at 6 weeks.

Hi you can anytime shift between DTP and DTaP but remember there is a huge cost difference and the final immunity gained by child is equal. If pain and Fever is very problematic, u may shift to DTaP. Presently DTaP vaccine for small babies is in short supply though.

Hello.... whole-cell pertussis vaccine in DTPand acellular pertussis in DTaP ,if this is first booster dose you can vaccinate her with DTaP, she need to receive another second booster dose at 5 year. Don't worry about pain, since DTwP has recatogenecity DTaP is preferred in toddlers... Consult pediatrician and get her vaccinated....
