I started feeling pain on my lips about a week ago. Despite staying hydrated, taking antihistamines, and using Vaseline daily, the condition of my lips has continued to worsen. They are now dry, persistently painful, and covered in a yellow crust. I have experienced some itchiness in my mouth as well and I'm not sure if that was caused by oral allergy syndrome or was a precursor to whatever else may be happening now. Because I have experienced this itchiness in the past week, even without having recently eaten prior, I think it may be the latter. Please inform how to proceed. Thank you.
