Dry mouth with fungal infection in tongu
I was diagnosed with Thyroid in 2016 and since then I've been taking Thyronorm 50mg. However, now my TSH levels are under control, do I still need to continue the medicine? Along with this, I also have an issue of dry mouth which is significant during the night. This has caused some fungal infection in the tongue. My age is 29. Pls help.

The thyroid medication should not be stopped and has to be continued life-long. The dosage of the thyronorm has to be adjusted as per your TSH. stopping the medication can cause problems. Fungal infection has to be treated with medicines, please see a specialist immediately.
