Dry khasi and jukham
Hello doctor I'm very upset ..my daughter is 6 months old she totally dependent on my breast feed but from 10 days she having too much dry khasi we tried relent+ syrup for 3 days but not relief after that doctor suggest  maxtra syrup so there was some relief for 3 to 4 days but since yesterday again coughing is very severe. Got treatment from Delhi's Kalavati Hospital, I have done blood test and chest x-ray reports are normal, there is no infection in the chest. The doctor said that the cough will take time to get better but she is so upset that she is unable to eat or sleep due to dry khasi , she has a continuous cough. Please help doctor, it is not possible that cough medicine for throat infection is not available only. My daughter is very upset from 10 days

Do TLC, DLC. TO LOOK FOR EOSINOPHIlia. Then Hetrazan is specific treatment. .Breat feed is best . To continue it. You must wear mask and take vaccination against Covid. If you are safe, the baby is also safe. . For cough g, try ginger and jaggery with whole black pepper boil it and it is very effective. I AM promoting Indian herbs because there is no treatment.
Next Steps
This viral infection , nothing else works. Keep good nutrtionand hydration. Continue breast feeding.
