Dry couph for few months not getting reduced Tried various couph syrups but no reduction Please assist

This cough may be due to allergy or sometimes due to infection. Atleast get basic tests done like CBC/ESR/TT/Chest X ray. Take Benz pearls three times a day.

Dear Sir You have to do 1. CXR 2. ECG 3. ECHO You can also get dry cough If there are any problem in heart. So we have to first rule that out.

Hello there, did u get yr Total n differential WBC count?if not get this done to know if yr Eosinophil count is more or not.if more u need specific medicine for that. Else just take any good any good allergy medicines n cough syrup meant for dry cough

Hello. There are many reasons for dry cough. It can be due to allergic reaction, which has to be treated with anti allergens like turmeric. It can also be due to a reflex mechanism like frequent ear cleaning, which stimulates the nerves inside the ear and result in cough. In such case, the ear cleaning frequency should be reduced to once in a week. It can also be due to smoke and dust, which are to be avoided as far as possible. Use 1 teaspoon melted ghee in half a glass hot water, drink it sip by sip thrice a day.
