I suddenly get dry cough not sure the reason behind it sometimes while sleeping the cough causes sound in the chest region!!!

It may be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux. please provide detailed history for proper diagnosis and treatment. do u have acidity? foreign body sensation in throat? frequent throat clearing?
