Dry cough at night
Hi Doc, From 4-5 days I am having dry cough at night. I took cough syrup n a few home remedies but no relief. I took Inhaler - Foracort 400 n got temporary relief. Because I have allergic asthama from 2007 I keep this Inhaler. Also, 3weeks back I tested COVID positive with mild fever n had lost sense of smell n taste. Now smell n taste is back but dry cough started. Please advice medication.

Dry cough tends to remain for few days in this 3rd peak. You need to take Tab Bilasure M 1-0-1 for 10 days (you may also take it more) , tab deriphylline 1-1-1 (if not contraindicated) for 7 days
Next Steps
betadine plus warm water gargles 3-4 times/day
Health Tips
taking spray of Asthma also dries up the oral cavity leading to repeated dry cough.this one will subside once you start the meds prescribed.
