Dry Cough - 5yrs 5months
Hi doc,
My daughter has dry cough from 2days and today morning she got fever. Any suggestion or syrup.
I gave her mucolite syrup and sinerest
For fever meftal p, fever is fine now but cough is a problem.
Is this is ok or any other suggestion.

Mucolite is for thick secretions to become thin and come out. As cough is dry, use Ascoril D syrup. It contains chlorpheniramine and so no need to give Sinarest also. Give crocin for fever as Meftal is only for high fever. Mostly it's a viral fever. It will last a few days. Nothing to worry

Hello. For fever, avoid Meftal P and try to give syrup Paracetamol. For cough, he is already on cough syrup bu it is always better to get examined for his cough and cold for chest and throat. So, get a direct consultation done with a pediatrician for better management.
