Doubt regarding epilepsy
I am an epileptic and I had a GTCS in 2021. That was my third episode in my life. As advised by my doctor, I started taking Valproate 200mg twice daily and clobazam 5 mg once a day for three years. At the end of 2024, the neurologist took an EEG and gradually tapered and stopped the meds. As of now, I didn't have another episode. I want to know if there is any risk of developing episodes in the near future and whether I should restart the medications?

The risk of future seizure episode depends on the pathology of disease as detected at time of first seizure episode ..u should have a mri brain at time of onset of seizure to know about the proper diagnosis of ur seizure.
Next Steps
wait and watch if seizure reoccur do a mri brain also and consult with a neurologist
