Doubt on medicine
Hello Doctor , m 11 weeks pregnant. When I got to know that I conceived my doctor prescribed folnew tablet (5mg+200mg+1.5mg+1500mcg) to take everyday after lunch. Due to lock down I couldnot fine folnew medicines in store so I consulted my doctor and she prescribed Folvite 5mg. But the problem is its only 5mg.i already stated taking it since 15 days and I didnot inform abt the power of the tablet.  Is that ok to take everyday after lunch . Pls let me know

Congratulations !!!! As you are expecting a child. If you are a Primi( first pregnancy) then ok. Otherwise, You should enlist: 1. About your previous pregnancy. 2. Any history of bleeding in present pregnancy . 3. Any significant medical history., If any!
Next Steps
1. Don't worry you've been prescribed Folic acid in recommended dose. and it's absolutely normal dose pattern also. 2. Avoid stress any kind of it. be pleasant. 3. You should be worried only if you have recurrent abortion previously, if painful bleeding now.
Health Tips
Once lockdown give some relaxation 1. Get done your NB and NT scan. and have a wonderful journey till the baby plays around you and then on.
