Doubt of UTI or STI
For almost 7-8 days I felt a burning sensation everytime I went to pee. Yesterday morning it pained the most in all the days. After which the pain reduced and now there's very slight or no such pain at all. I doubted of having a UTI or STI, now that I don't feel any such pain or burning sensation is there a possibility of the infection being gone?

Presence or absence of infection can be suspected by someone’s symptoms. Which you very clearly had, however, the only confirmation is by getting a Urine Culture & Sensitivity Test. But if your symptoms are reduced now you can start taking plenty of liquids orally.

If positive you should be put on antibiotics
