My wife is undergoing 13th week of pregnancy. We are advised to go for NT scan and double marker test.
NT scan was normal with nuchal translucency of 1.4 mm.
Double marker screened positive(high risk).
We or our family does not have any chromosomal abnormality background.
My wife's age is 35 years and 5 month.
Based on double marker outcome, doctor suggested for amniocentesis.
Need your expert opinion here please.
My. Doctor has suggested to travel nearly 600 kms to get this test done ( We are in Bihar and suggested to get it done at Kolkata).
Also, want to know if shall we first go wi NIPT first or directly we should go for amniocentesis. Thank you very much.
