Dog scratch should she need booster dose
Doctor my niece's 4 dose intradermal anti Rabies vaccination schedule was Day 0 3 7 28 and she took her Last 4th Day 28 anti Rabies vaccine on 15th February 2022 but today on 23rd March 2022 a street dog scratch her with nails with minor little bit blood comes out no wound so should she need to take booster dose Day 0 and Day 3 ?

As per guidelines if 5 doses of anti rabies vaccine taken 0,3,7,14,28 days after dog bite. If dog bites again with in one year only one booster dose is recommended.

Yes, for minor scratches child needs to take two booster doses of intradermal regimen on day 0 and day 3

1.usually minor scratches don't need any oral antibiotics.
2.these woulds should be cleaned with soap and water, if need topical antibiotics can be applied.
3.paracetamol is enough for minor pain
