Dog scratch
9 months ago my pet dog had scratched me on my neck and scratch was little severe like it teared my skin apart and I was able to see my underlying skin and blood was coming out. I didn't cleaned my wound and didn't took any vaccine and even my dog was not vaccinated at the time he scratched me but few days after scratching me he got vaccinated with Anti rabbies injection but I didn't took any vaccine . The thing that is worrying me is that a rabid dog dies within 10 days after scratch or bite but my dog got vaccinated after few days from the scratch incidence so that's why he didn't die.will I get rabbies as my scratch was severe and I didn't took any vaccine and didn't cleaned the wound even my dog was not vaccinated when he scratched me ,he got vaccinated after few days of scratch incidence.so will I get rabbies??( My dog is still alive)

No usually the incubation period of rabies vutus last from 2 weeks to 3 months. At the max, the cases can be seen by 6 months  which is also rare. In your case, since the bites seem to be grade 1, and that has also past 9 months  so the possibility in ypur case is unlikely. Don't worry.
