My son's age is 15 and is suffering from cold and fever past week. From 3 days he is our family doctors medicines. But fever dint subside. On his reports we dint find any malaria or dengue parasites, but his WBC count is very high. Can only fever cause and increase in ones WBC count?

He must be suffering from an infection. It may be of blood or urine. You must get a blood & urine culture & sensitivity test done to rule out such possibilities.
