My dad is about 61 year old . In March he got heart attack and lvef was 15% at that time . One doctor suggested pacemaker . Does pacemaker are helpful in this condition? He is diabetic too!!!

1) Probably your cardiologist would have suggested an AICD, which is basically a device that protects against sudden death.
2) CRT-D is a specialised device that does help in improving LVEF, but there are strict criteria as to who will benefit
3) Looking at his LVEF, probably an LVAD is a better choice
