Hello Sir/Madam,
My father is diagnosed with ureter cancer with stage T3N2Mx. Doctors are saying only way to treat him is doing a procedure called Nephroureterectomy. He is 77 year old with no heart ailment and non diabetic. Please suggest how risky it will be or if there is any alternative. I am attaching his MRI report

It seens patient has paraaortic and pelvic nodes..
Surgery definitely should be done..but that surgery should include lymphnodal dissection...
If surgeon is not able to perform dissection of node in view of perinodal stranding can try neoadjuvant chemotherapy too...
For complete cure of the cancer surgery is only option. By chance if patient is not fit for surgery then chemotherapy or immunotherapy can be considered( but these option are will prolong the survival of cancer it will not cure cancer)
