Doctor do xray but not ..
I x ray my chest for symptoms of tb but it was negative doctor prescribe medicine but after 5 day my cough still persist what i do now i am in tens that am i not suffering from tb

hello there. do you have sputum production during cough? if you do, then get your sputum checked out for AFB. AFB means Acid Fast Bacilli, which is TB bacteria. if your sputum contains TB bacteria, then you have TB and you should take TB treatment. the problem with xray is, TB diagnosis is not always reliable with xray. but sputum examination is always reliable. if you don't have any sputum production, then you should consult your doctor again. you may need a change of antibiotics, a medicine to control allergic cough etc. if you are suffering from asthma, you should take asthma medicines also for a few days. regards
