Doc of int medicine or endocrinologist ?
Recently, I have been diagnosed with what looks like metabolic syndrome with pre-diabetes, high non hdl cholesterol, and the beginning of non alcoholic fatty acid. I also have high blood pressure since 2005. Now I also have a B12 deficiency and osteopenia. I need to consult a doctor who will take a comprehensive view and work out a plan that connects all of this, including a review of my very old blood pressure medication. Should I approach a doctor of internal medicine or an endocrinologist? Thank you. Rajat Basu

Visit an endocrinologist . Metabolic syndrome can be either because of hormonal imbalance or because of sedentary lifestyle. Are you on steroids for any health issue?
Next Steps
Nevertheless , consult an endocrinologist for better and detailed steps forward.
