Do coloured lens be safe?

Do coloured lens be safe for high powered number ? Do they affect eye in any manner for long day ?? Earliest reply would be appreciated

Hi colored lenses are safe only if they are from a standard company..I have seen patients using Korean lenses who landed up with corneal problems..secondly if of a higher power they would be thicker periphery leading to lower oxygen supply hence should not be used for longer hours..best to consult an eye specialist

Hello.. Well there is no problem in using coloured lens..but since you are telling high power..it depends..for people with high power spectacles are preferred as you may get frequent headaches with lens...we also need to know about the curvature too so that we can help you out better...better see an ophthalmologist before buying
