Distemper vs Rabies
What are the differences between the symptoms of distemper and rabies?..My dog had the same symptoms as rabies and distemper, such as drooling, paralysis, muscle twitching, jerking, and whining, vomiting, mucus type stool sometimes.

Actually both rabies and canine distemper has almost same signs, becoz both infects their nervous system and the signs are neurological, but in rabies the dog tends to be more aggressive in nature and tries to bite or calm and be lonely.... I'm canine distemper it has fit and convulsions... Thank you

Rabies and Canine Distemper both are viral infections, which affects the brain, so both will be having neurological signs, but there are quite a few differences is there between them. Rabies infection main target organ is brain so aggressive, throat paralysis, salivation, and other neurological signs are the common problem Whereas Canine Distemper affects Nervous system, Digestive system, Respiratory system, ocular and skin. Hence, in CD, you will see nervous signs, vomiting, diarrhea, respiratory issues, eye discharge, nasal discharge, etc Some of the typical signs of CD are thick purulent nasal and ocular discharge with temporal twitching
