Discontinuation of Thyroxine

Question

Asked for Male, 50 Years

Due to low TSH of 0.02 discontinued Thyroid medication of 50 mcg 30 days back and advised to retest TSH after 30 days. The current TSH taken today without one month medicine is 6.01 ( lab cut off 4.2 ). Can I remain without medicine for one more month and restart Thyroid function.Already started experiencing headaches and sleepiness.

No. Need to restart thyroxine. I believe you might be on other tablets supplements and could have caused the TSH to be low
