Discharge from ear
My mother is suffering from cold very frequently since last 4 months. This time, Long with nose jam, her right ear is discharging clean and non smelling water type thing. She feels some water kind thing at night during sleep. She consulted a local general doctor who said that it's due to cold and will be cured in next 3 days but she still feels the same. Let me know what could be the reason.

She’s suffering from COM most probable mucosal variety.
This will require surgical repair of ear drum, not an emergency or life threatening condition.
