Digestive Issues
I was having fever and then it was associated with diarrhea. I took antibiotics for 2 days and it was fine. Now I am feeling like bloating and stomach is not clearing and pain on the side above hip. I had antibiotics in the month of Jan which lasted around 10 days and antacid for around 10 days.Probiotics for 20 days.  I am worried about how many times should I take antibiotics and frequency and for antacid also, how prolonged to take it since this is the only medicine whenever I have stomach issue

For motion sickness, try home remedies like ginger in the form of tea, candies, or ginger ale, peppermint oil, acupressure bands, vitamin B6 supplements, and sitting in the front seat or in the middle of a boat or plane to reduce symptoms like nausea, dizziness, and vomiting.

Your symptoms of bloating, persistent stomach discomfort, and pain near the hip after antibiotics suggest gut microbiome imbalance or possible gastritis. Guidance for Recovery: ✔ Limit Antibiotic Use – Only take antibiotics when necessary and prescribed by a doctor. Overuse can disturb gut flora. ✔ Probiotics & Prebiotics – Continue probiotics for at least 4-6 weeks to restore gut health. Yogurt, fermented foods, and fiber-rich foods can help. ✔ Antacids – Should be taken only for short-term relief. Long-term use may lead to acid rebound and other digestive issues. ✔ Hydration & Diet – Drink plenty of water and consume light, fiber-rich foods to support digestion. Avoid spicy, fried, and acidic foods. ✔ Rule Out Infections – If symptoms persist, tests may be required to check for H. pylori infection, gastritis, or IBS. Since your symptoms are ongoing, I recommend a personalized evaluation to determine the right course of action.
