Hi, Insomnia can be troublesome. You have not mentioned much about your work and personal background. Is there any work stress or domestic difficulties you are going through? Lot of times Insomnia may be result of excessive thinking and subsequently difficulty in falling asleep. For these problems you need to see a therapist. Some important sleep hygiene tips are as follows. Sleep and wake up at the same time. Do not have a heavy meal at night. Avoid caffeine and carbonated beverages after 5 in evening and also reduce your intake of the same during day if taking in excess. Use your bed only for sleeping and do not do other activities like reading paper, watching TV, eating etc. Do not keep watching the clock every time you wake up in middle of night.
