Difficulty in facing medical internship
I'm a recently graduated doctor who started internship one month ago.i was having anxiety and depression earlier also.this time i ended up in the same situation and feel like giving up and currently i have taken a leave from internship.i'm getting lot of suicidal thoughts as well.i consulted a psychiatrist and his idea was to get exposed to the ward and has prescibed alprazolam and venlafaxine.now the symptoms are a bit relieved but still i am scared to go back to ward and work.please help

Good that you are on medication... Wait for some time like few weeks for drug to act..... You will feel much comfortable then. Also consult a psychologist for cbt 😊
