Sir my father undergoing medical oncology and radiation therapy for bucal mucosa. He have sore throat and difficult to swallow. Please suggest medicine for him

Diagnosis - radiation induced mucositis. Please use lidocam tablets one before every meal and apply candida mouth paint local application in the oral cavity. Also maintain hygiene as susceptibility to infections is high. Chlorhexidine mouth gargles would be great. Thank you

During and after chemo radiation for buccal mucosa cancer patients develop condition known as radiation induced mucositis of whole upper digestive tract which causes significant pain and difficulty in swallowing. It needs to be treated by symptomatic medication such as painkillers, local gel applications and Local anesthetic gargle
