Difference in thyronorm and levothyroxin

Asked for Male, 35 Years

Hi Sir, I have thyroid and I am taking thyronorm 100 mg every day but now I have 2 days medicine today I have visited Doctor and advice to take levothyroxine 100 mg is these medicine is same or different please advice

It is preferable to continue the same brand as change of brand can cause the thyroxine levels to change. Thyronorm or Levothyroxine, the drug is the same. Stick on to either Thyronorm or Levothyroxine don’t change it!
