Diet after laparoscopic cholecystectomy
My mother  who  is 55 years old got Laparoscopic cholecystectomy five days back as she was having multiple gallbladder stones. She has been taking diet of Daliya, Dal,Khichdi ,Nariyal Pani and juice since then. How long should she ideally wait before she starts taking chapati and rice and vegetables in her food. She doesn't eat spicy or fatty food, any specific food that she should avoid to remain healthy .

Hello, She should eat small meals and keep a 2-3 hours gap in between every meal. She can start with healthy fats like nuts. She needs proper diet counselling to start a normal diet.
