Medicines will take time to work so be patient. None of the medicines stop loose motions immediately. As they will work and have the effect say after 72hrs, you will notice a change in cough as well as loose motions too. Give WHO ORS at regular intervals to keep your child well hydrated

In a breast fed child , potty happening after each feed is quite normal , and does not mean infection . Maybe you are feeding too often . Give a gap of at least two hours between feeds , and burp after each feed . An occasional vomiting can also happen because of excessive feeding and indigestion. Giving feeds less often will give enough time for digestion and reduce the vomiting and frequency of motion.
