Diarrhea in baby
My baby will be completing 4 months in next 3 days. Yesterday he got his shots of 3.5 months (IPV, Hib, DTap, rotavirus, and pneumococcal). He is having fever, pain, swelling on the shot spot and watery stools. He has pooped around 7-8 times since morning. And stool is like greenish water and seedy. Please suggest which medicine to give him to stop his diarrhea

Hello. This is Dr Rubal Jain, MD Peds and Lactation Consultant. My advice would be to consult once, as your child requires a thorough examination, especially of the vaccination site. In the meantime, I would suggest you increase her fluid intake in the form of ORS and breastfeeding to avoid dehydration. She should be having 8-10 dirty nappies in a day.
Next Steps
Get the vaccination site examined.
