Diaper rash with fever
Good evening doctors, my son is exactly 21 months old, he weighs 11kg, he had a fever of 100.1 from yesterday night, fever is in control. he had pain while sitting I noticed his groins are little red, and had like a diaper rash, i texted his pediatrician, I was instructed to give paracetamol and a rash Cream.. does diaper rash cause fever??! Will it go away on it's own??!! Please let me know doctors thank you.

If rash is infected then it can cause fever, or fever might be viral / seasonal, fever is low grade, if high grade fever present then go for physical consultation , use coconut oil or keep diaper free in day
