Diagnosis of diabtish
I am harshal patel age 27 male
i have a baby girl age of 3 years.
i have diabitish from last 5 years.and taking insulin from 1 month.
i have examin that my baby is thirsty and drinksome water at every 1 hour in day not in night.and ask for mango and choklet.
i hve test her sugar by my glucometer at night after 2 hours of meal was 133

Hi Sir. 2 hour post prandial sugar greater than, 200 is Diabetes. So your child glucose seems to be normal assuming that your glucometer is correct. Also to diagnose diabetes we cannot depend on glucometer value.. We need to do it in a lab. Also children may be thirsty if it is hot outside or they play more etc. Also most of the kids ask for chocolate etc. That does not indicate diabetes. How is your baby otherwise? How is her urine output? How is her weight? These questions also need to be answered.
