Male, no smoke wine etc. age 60+ fbs 184 urea 30 post prandiel 252 cholesterol 210, urine sugar nil albumin nil, bp 130/80 If I don't take metformin what alternative medicine is there? I'd be thankful if any doctor reply me. I walk 2km a day, no libido

Metformin is the drug of choice. For some reasons if u can't tolerate it at all you can go for one of the DPP4 inhibitors or SGLT2 Inhibitors or Pioglitazone. Choice of drug depends on various factors from your history
