Diabetes hba1c 6.3
Hba1c was showing 6.3 and yesterday sugar levels was 303. Not taking any medicine these days. Previously taking voglistar gm 1 in morning and glyciphage in evening.

Something is not right here. your HBA1c level does not correlate with the sugar level you have given . can you please give me more information as when this HBA1c was done and what time the sugar levels were checked and also when did you stop taking the medication. with out having above information, the only explanation I have at the moment HBA1c reflects the sugar control over the last 3 months . This is well under control which could explained by you taking your medications during that period. The present glucose level you gave could be because of discontinuation of medications and this will have an effect on the HBA1C levels in the next three months , which will probably be very high. My suggestion is not to discontinue your medications, but if you do encounter any problems with the medications themselves, there are more safer medications available now that can control your sugar levels well with out causing significant side effects
