Hi All, I have been through few tests FBS,PPBS, and Lipid profile tests. The results show presense of more sugar level then specificed. Can anyone please guide me how to control?is this any serious problem? Should I be more food conscious? I have attached the reports copy. Please help me out. Regards, Santosh

Hello,, yes you are having diabetes and even your triglycerides level are little bit higher. A strict follow in low carbohydrate, low fatty diet and protein diet along with exercise(daily half to one hour, cycling jogging, walking,, aerobics, dance, gym) will help you alone. Avoid rice, added sugar or sweets, junk, oily food. Eat more chapati or ragi ball, Raw or cooked vegetables, Green leafy vegetables,Flavorful, Low-calorie Drinks (Cut up a lemon or cucumber and put it in your water, or make ice cubes with some flavoring in them with no sugar ) Melon or Berries“ (it’s a healthy treat packed with nutrients and fiber, and it’s a little bit sweet), Try legumes like dried beans, peas, and lentils. You can even enjoy a black bean and corn salsa with your raw vegetables. A Little Fat, Good fat choices include olive oil, avocado, and fatty fishes -- think salmon served on of a bed of lettuce, for example. If not controlled with this,, consider taking tablets.
