Diabetes and CKD
Hello doctor. I wanna know how long does it take for diabetes to cause CKD? A decade? My father ,48, had his fasting sugar 101 in a routine blood test. We also kad KFT done and everything was in range. His Screatinine was 0.85. eGFR was 103. Since then he has started exercise and his sugar is now in 80s range. That marginal increase in sugar won't harm him right? He is leading a healthy lifestyle now.

If sugar is controlled well, then nephropathy (CKD) doesn't develops. Just keep checking sugar periodically and keep it in control. For more information contact 94540483o3 watsap
