Devalued and disrespected by family memb
I'm being devalued and disrespected by my maternal grandparents and family members..they're not so well wishers or well intentioned as me and my mother..they always gossip, laugh and are jealous of my progress in life..and they compare me with my maternal cousins..whenever I visit or stay at their home..they either insult me or play manipulation games. At this age too..and even others. Here my father also plays psychic games with them and thinks that they're all politicians..involved together..bcz of them I got separated from my fiancee..but I still talk to him about how badly I'm treated..and want him to take me away from such toxic family members..since my parents also abuse me at home alot by beating and using bad words..but as we are also having higher studies along with work so we cannot leave them..and take a stand.. but I really want to escape away from such people forever and be with the person who loves me and values with mutual respect. I don't understand how to cope up..

Please follow the 3 step method which is proven to be effective against rude people 1. When someone is rude to us our body shows physical reactions. With all that we normally tend to walk away or try to fight back BUT take a deep breath and you are not going to tell anything. This makes them unsettled. 2.Then ask questions which will call out the behavior and bring attention to how ridiculous it is 3. People are rude because they are looking for dopamine hits, don't give any physical reaction which makes them unsatisfied.
