Depression or something else?
So it's been almost 5 years since i wanted to learn something new maybe it's some technological skill or some artistic thing. But i just keep delaying things and here I am yet i have not learnt a single thing that I wanted to learn since the last 5 years. I have a fear or failure and hence i don't even start learning something new and also i have a fear of authority so i can't say no if someone senior asks me to do something and i just nod along. There's a fear of being judged by people around and hence i communicate a little with them. And when it comes to girls i just don't know what happens to me and I'm just speechless.. I'm not sure if it's due to shyness or something else. I feel like a loser and regret the decisions i have made in the past. I just feel like leaving everything and running away somewhere where i can be alone. Feels like life is Over and there's no point in living.

Hi It sounds like you have low self-esteem and performance anxiety. Since five years you wanted to learn something new but you kept delaying. You are afraid of failure and you are bothered about what other people think. You also feel anxious around girls and it could be due to social anxiety or you being low on confidence. To feel better consult a psychologist and explain about your fears. If you want to learn something new learn it with a calm state of mind. Do things for yourself. It is great that you are into technology and it shows you are ambitious and intelligent. When you learn something new focus on yourself and not on other peoples opinion. You have certain fears which you can overcome. You can learn to focus on yourself and your skills and be assertive. Don’t label yourself to be a loser. A psychologist will help you overcome your fears. You can gradually work on overcoming your fears. Take baby steps. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
Next Steps
Consult a psychologist
