Hello practo user
I can understand the difficulty you and your mother have been going through. The change in the behaviour may be due to some underlying stress or dissatisfaction causing frustration and mood swings. The symptoms that you have mentioned are manageable with the help of a mental health professional. It is advisable that you take her to a clinical psychologist who can have regular counselling sessions with her and understand her symptoms in detail and also provide ways and skills to deal with the daily situations of life. Regular exercise such as walking and having a healthy nutritious diet is recommended. You can also get in touch with me through the practo app for further help or guidance
