I am taking esta plus h of emocare from the lat 4 years . Can I take nexto forte now as both contains the same salt . My basically question is that only salt matters or brand plays in role in effectiveness of the medicine .

Salt matters mainly. In an ideal world brand shouldn't matter as all generic manufacturers are supposed to adhere to norms prescribed by the appropriate authority.
But practically good brands are usually more efficacious than small unknown fly by night brands as they are likely to adhere to guidelines more stringently than small operators.
