I have a large abscess in my mouth on the lower left side and I cannot afford to go to the dentist to get this treated

abcess should be treated as early as possible as it may spread to surrounding structures. to prescribe medication, the condition has to be evaluated, without which right treatment may not be possible.

You must visit a dentist or the complications could be much more than you could afford. It may lead to some bone pathology and may get worse than that too, keeping aside the fact that the pain would be tremendous!

For the time being you could start on a regime of AmoxiClav and Hifenac P to control the infection and pain.
