This is for my 5 year old child. If a fever subsides with medication, can it be dengue or seasonal viral?
We are having a lot of dengue cases in the society we stay in and am so scared. My child had fever since yesterday morning ranging between 99 - 102 which goes down with medication and sponging as prescribed by her doc. She is eating, playing normally. No rashes, body ache, headache, eye pain either.
When should I get a dengue test done just to be sure?
Thank you 🙏🙏

Dengue is a viral infection. So it can be either a regular viral infection or it can be dengue. It is advisable to meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is a viral infection or a bacterial infection and which medicines are required but if it is Viral please give plenty of water to drink and maintain hydration and give proper rest to the child.
