Hello,
My daughter is almost 5 years old. She had slight 99 fever in the morning around 12 and then 101.4 in the afternoon around 2.30pm. She has no other symptoms like pain in head, eyes, body, cold, cough, vomiting etc.
Could this be dengue or seasonal viral fever.
Her paed has prescribed few medicines and says can't be dengue as dengue has high fever. But we are worried.
Please help with your inputs.
Thank you.

A fever can always be a dengue (mild dengue) in this season. It also depends on your locality.
Treatment of mild dengue fever as well as seasonal viral infection is same. Plenty of water intake and fever management with paracetamol.
Next Steps
If any danger signs like pain abdomen, or breathing difficulty develop, consult with a doctor.
