Dengue and platelets count
My daughter is diagonsed with dengue, fever started on (10th Nov lasted till 13th Nov) she had rashes along with last day of fever on face in 2 days it spread all over and rashes started to fade away from 16th that is when we got the report for dengue positive she had a platelet count of 230000 , in 2 days it's reduced to 158000, her activity looks normal, she has tiredness sometimes in the day, she eats normally, and drinks enough water and juices. Consulted homeo and general mbbs , they both told there is nothing to worry, my worry is , her platelet has taken a dip, so will it shoot up again, everybody is suggesting papaya leaf juice( including govt health officers, chennai) but she vomits  everything if I give that juice and she is starving.. is it necessary to repeat the test? Taking blood from her is another traumatic experience for us. So, for now Dr. Has asked us to repeat only if she shows any signs . Is papaya leaf the only cure for dengue?
